Summer Walk
Friday 6th June, from 11amSummer solstice is around the corner, and what better way to enjoy it than in nature! Join our very own Josi as she hosts you on one of her favourite circular walks from the Crown pub.
Meet at the pub from 11am for some coffees and teas to get yourself ready for the walk ahead, then follow Josi on a walk through the local countryside. Watch this space for more information on the route!

Penn 7 Run & Party by the Pond
Saturday, June 7 All DayCome visit us on Tyler’s Green during the Penn 7 runs, and Party by the Pond!
We’ll be serving up smiles, spritzes and cocktails all day, and bringing The Crown’s signature service to this fantastic event.
We’ll still be open up the road, so if you fancy a sit-down meal in a more peaceful environment, or if the party isn’t your scene, pop over and we’ll make sure you have a relaxing Saturday meal.
Whether you see us by the Pond or in the Pub, we’re so excited to be part of this exciting day, and we can’t wait to see you there!
The Crown Quiz Night

With a mix of tricky trivia, friendly competition, and plenty of laughs, it's the perfect way to break up your week.
First Prize: £50 bar tab
Entry: £2 per person (Max 6 per team)
Golden Question Jackpot:
Each team gets a shot at the Golden Question – a super specific, number-based challenge (answer between 1 and 1000). One player per team gets 10 seconds to answer, and if they’re within 50 of the correct number, they win the jackpot – a bar tab equal to the total pot, which starts at £100!
If no one hits the mark, the pot rolls over and gets even juicier the next time…

Enjoy complimentary samples of their crisp, authentically brewed Spanish lager, poured fresh and full of Galician character. With live music setting the scene, expect vibrant summer vibes, great beer, and a celebration of Spanish culture — no passport required.
The Crown Room
Enjoy a family meal or host a meeting in warmth and luxury in our private dining room. Perfect for groups of 8-12, our Crown room is the perfect venue for everything - from a special occasion to a business meeting and everything else in between. Hidden behind the two beautiful paintings at the head of the room is a large TV screen which can be used to mirror any device with an HDMI connection, and there is also a hidden microphone output, just in case you need extra volume or would like to play your own music. There’s even a curtain that can be drawn for extra privacy!

Champagne Reception
Looking to celebrate in style? Our Crown room and Cosy area can be booked out for large drinks parties of up to 30. We call it a Champagne reception, but if beer or cocktails are more your style, we can create a bespoke drinks package that suits your tastes to a T!
