Private Events at The Crown
The Crown is the perfect location for any event. Whether you are hosting a birthday party, baby shower, wake, wedding, business meeting, or a simply a friend and family get-together, our pub provides memorable food and drink.
The Crown Room
Enjoy a family meal or host a meeting in our cosy and luxurious private dining room. Ideal for groups of 8-12, and with a real fire, our Crown room is the perfect venue for everything - from a special occasion to a business meeting and everything else in between. Hidden behind the two beautiful paintings at the head of the room is a large TV screen which can be used to mirror any device with an HDMI connection, and there is also a hidden microphone output, just in case you need extra volume or would like to play your own music. This room can be isolated for privacy from the main dining area with heavy drapes.
The Cosy
Adjacent to our Crown Room is The Cosy. Seating up to 18, this space is best for a casual gathering. When booked together, The Crown room and Cosy become just the place for a standing drinks reception, birthday party, christening, or wake for up to 40 people standing (Max 30 seated). Tucked away in the east wing of the pub, this area provides guests with a private area that is accessible by a separate entrance with lots of space for mingling and socialising.
The Dining Room
Our dining room is available for hire for larger parties of up to 60 people – Maximum 40 seated, 60 standing - with a minimum spend of £50 per head. Whether you’re looking to hold a formal 2-3 course meal or a more casual canape and drinks party, the ambiance of the dining room, from the gorgeous décor to its position steps away from the bar and easy access to our garden make it a fantastic place to host your event.
The Terrace
With beautiful views of the surrounding forest, and exclusive access to the outside bar, our terrace is ideal for groups of up to 45 seated and 100 standing.
